At last, here is the finished figure.
The paint is actually still wet, which accounts for some of the gloss, but overall, she is done. You can see I went with a blue coat instead of a black one, because in the series Gentleman Jack, Lister wears a blue coat to her "marriage" to Ann Walker. And symbolism aside, I like that the blue coat offers a bit of visual relief from all the black.
If you look closely, you will see that I have added a watch chain and fob to her waistcoat.
Here is a side view, giving a better view of the silver and onyx ring Lister habitually wore on her right index finger. And, the view from behind.
Given that I started with this...
...I am quite pleased with this figure.
This was a really satisfying project, as it required me to step up my sculpting skills in order to modify the figure to make it more in line with the Anne Lister we see in the show. I am totally diggin' on the ground work, which turned out beautifully (if I do say so myself).
What's next? I'm not sure. Maybe I will see if I can't get good old HeroForge to crank out something that looks like Ann Walker so I can have both Ladies of Shibden.
